New StayBlooming.com stickers in the Shop.
If you have been a reader or visitor, you have noticed some changes and should know that more changes are to come. StayBlooming.com has been a blogging platform that shared insight regarding humanitarian efforts, environmental issues, and self-care. Over time, my focus has narrowed down to the environment and the natural world. Therefore, moving forward, StayBlooming.com will reflect that change and will concentrate on the green living, eco-consciousness, and environmental education.
The new logo is representative of this new phase of StayBlooming.com. The flower-like graphic is also 4 droplets. The colors represent humanity (yellow), our environment (dark and light green), and the ocean (teal).
One thing that will not change is the intention to spread awareness, resources, and ideas. There are additional things coming though and some are already here, in their earliest form…
The Featured tab has become the Topics page. Currently, it still exists as its former self, featuring green articles that I have written in the past. Over the next few weeks, however, it will become an interconnected web of information all about the environment.
Under the Resources tab, you will find Events and Organizations. Events is a returning page that was disabled for some time. Now it is housing green events happening in NYC as well as clean-up events that StayBlooming.com will be hosting. If there is demand for it then Events will support more cities. The Organizations page is a list of groups that do work related to the environment.
Also on the Resources page, you will find that Workshops and Guest Speaking are coming soon. Workshops will be an interactive one-day learning experience about the environment and the science behind it, as well as what you can do to help. Guest Speaking is a way to hire me to speak to a small group or audience. Topics for both will be coming soon.
The Shop is currently under construction and will be expanded. It will be mostly dedicated to ecofriendly products, stickers, and prints. All of the products that will be listed are selected for their ecoconscious value. The stickers are always going to be updated (a new pack is shown above) with new designs and pack options. Keep it bookmarked or make sure you frequent the page to check out the latest additions. Lastly, the Shop will be getting a different user interface to make your shopping experience much easier and efficient.
